Overview
COVID-19 has affected industries and sectors across the globe with governments placing restrictions on social gatherings and meeting in public places.
Plans have been introduced worldwide for customers to be asked to register in advance or check in as they arrive at pubs and restaurants to aid the reopening of the hospitality sector. Splash Access has worked hard in developing a guest registration system for contact tracing per government guidelines.
Bars and restaurants will be required to keep a register of all guests in their venues under new hospitality guidelines released to reduce the spread of coronavirus.
The register is to include the date and time of a guest’s entry, as well as their full name, address, phone, and email address. Once the guest has registered a unique code is sent via SMS with a time stamp and validation period to show to staff.
To comply with data protection rules all data is automatically deleted after 21 days.
A tried and tested solution that has been used by KFC, Pizza Hut, Taco Bell and Carl’s Jr to comply with government regulations.
